Follow these easy steps to get your Zanussi ZRT 6556 Refrigerator up and running in no time.
Remove all packaging and any adhesive tape from the appliance. Ensure the appliance and its interior fittings are free from transport protection materials.
Place the appliance in a cool, well-ventilated room. Avoid positioning it near heat sources such as radiators or boilers.
Ensure that there is adequate ventilation space around the appliance as specified in the installation instructions.
Adjust the two adjustable feet at the front of the appliance to level it. If required, remove the washer to assist with levelling.
Clean the inside of the appliance with lukewarm water mixed with a little bicarbonate of soda (5 ml to 0.5 litres of water). Do not use soap or detergent as the smell may linger.
Ensure the appliance is plugged into a suitable mains socket, and avoid using extension cables. Any electrical work should be conducted by a qualified electrician.
After installation, let the appliance stand for 2 hours before turning it on to allow the refrigerant to settle.
Plug in the appliance and switch it on at the mains supply. Turn the thermostat control to a setting between 3 and 4 for normal operation.
